얼마전에 이사진의 A-10을 완성하고, 이것을 제 페북에도 올렸었는데요, 81-0947은 정말 우연히, 고증에 안어긋나는 수준에서 안찢어지고 남은 데칼의 조합으로 완성할 수 있는 기체를 제작한 것이었습니다. 그런데 실제 파일럿이 보고 리플을 달아주었네요. 모형만들며 살다보니 재밌는 일도 겪게 되는 것 같습니다. 오산, 수원에도 근무하셨다네요. 그분 홈에 들어가보니 8-90년대로 추정되는 공군복장을 입고 계시니 거짓말은 아닌 것 같고, 아무튼 좋은 추억이 될 것 같습니다.
acft 81-0947 desert storm was named Desert Princess ALconbury Uk, assigned Shaw AFB sc 55th double nickel. she was my aircraft stationed Shaw AFB sc.I reassigned Pope afb NC picked up same one until retired. aircraft is now 75th fighter squadron Tigers Moody AFB Ga. see is till flying great and still my pride and (HOGS FOREVER ). i spent 15 years on the best close air support plane . i stated at Myrtle beach sc , Osan ab, Suwon ab South Korea, Davis Monthan Afb Az Shaw afb SC and finally Pope afb NC. Total time in air force 24 yrs, would not change anything at military service
